Enveloped in the rolling hills of the Cariboo in the remote historic town of Wells BC, the Sunset Theatre offers an array of professional theatre, music, film and retreats. Since re-opening its doors in 2006 the Sunset Theatre has played host to numerous professional theatre productions, musicians, concerts, films, and rentals.

Yet through it all, the one thing that truly keeps the Sunset Theatre alive is its motto: "We exist for the Artist." Without the artist there is no reason to be here. It is you the artist that has made the place what it is and what it will become. Your dedication, talent, creativity, tenacity and spirit has filled these walls with a love and inspiration to last a life time. Bookings for Artists retreats from 1 to 10 people are now being taken. Accommodation is provided in the price of the retreat. If you have an idea, a dream or a need to explore a new expression, the Sunset Theatre will endeavour to support, compliment and nurture your dream.
