Where Are They Now?

We thought it would be fun to keep track and update people who have performed at the Sunset Theatre.  This was we can congratulate them, celebrate them and follow their journey.

Our first shout-out goes to - Onalea Gilbertson

Onalea first came to the Sunset Theatre with her original song cycle Blanche with Morag  Northey and Jonathan Lewis.  She then returned on a retreat where she created a salon piece about Mata Hari with David Rhymer that eventually made it's way to New York where Onalea now calls home.  In New York, Onalea was one of the leads in the acclaimed Off-Broadway sensation 'Sleep No More', where she just finished a two-year run and will be swinging in from time to time as she pursues other projects. Her other projects...

REQUIEM FOR A LOST GIRL: A Chamber musical about homelessness created with Marcel Bergmann will be presented by the Vancouver Opera in the spring of 2018 who are working with an incredible organization in Vancouver called the kettle society.

Congratulations Onalea!
